That’s why SickKids Foundation is looking for a new Analyst, Strategic Projects.Position Status: 12 month contractAvailable: ImmediatelyDescription of the Position:Reporting to the Manager, Strategic Projects, the Analyst, Strategic Projects will support strategic initiatives by assisting in research, analysis and supporting ongoing projects.You will:· Support the ongoing projects within the Strategy portfolio including the tracking and reporting of the new strategic plan and alignment of the 3-year business plans to the strategic plan objectives;· Support process improvement initiatives across all Business Units including process mapping and identifying efficiencies;· Provide project management expertise and support high priority projects including Innovation Framework;· Support business cases on new initiatives as required including use of a Return-on-Investment framework to assess attractiveness of initiatives and prioritize as needed;· Support Campaign reporting and analysis for Senior Management Team and Board Committees;· Identify and synthesize research and analytics as required;· Conduct benchmarking, best practices and other competitor assessment studies;· Support the Manager, Director and Senior Management Team with analytics, writing, and presentation creation needs that arise;· Perform other ad-hoc projects and/or responsibilities as directed, and as new opportunities are identified.Required SkillsQualifications:While we know that for any job posting no one candidate will possess the qualifications being sought in equal measure, below is an outline of the qualifications we believe are important for a candidate to bring to the position or for the successful candidate to develop while in the role:· Cross-functional project management experience;· Knowledge of financial and accounting principles; ability to understand and interpret financial statement and data;· Able to develop and structure projects and research to support key strategic initiatives;· Strong Analytical skills;· Strong facilitation skills;· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills;· Able to multi-task and constantly reprioritize work in a complex, service-oriented environment;· Organized, detail-oriented with exceptional follow- through;· Able to work independently and in a team environment;· Strong skills with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint;· Experience with CRM systems, specifically Blackbaud Enterprise CRM, would be an asset;· Experience in a fundraising organization would be an asset.We’re looking for a passionate individual who is interested in moving the dial and making a difference.
