You will support and manage our client’s Warehouse Management System (WMS), customer portals, shipping platforms, picking technology, and related applications. This role ensures system reliability, leads troubleshooting efforts, and serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for warehouse technology initiatives.What you will be doing:
Application Support & MaintenanceTroubleshoot and resolve system issues via ticketing system, meeting SLA timelines.Perform root cause analysis and recommend solutions.Work with IT teams and vendors to ensure optimal system performance.Identify and implement process automation and improvements.On-Site Support & Infrastructure CoordinationSupport RF & handheld equipment, printing solutions, and network systems.Provide desk-side assistance and collaborate with IT Infrastructure & Security teams.Travel as needed for project rollouts and training.Project & Change ManagementDefine project scope, deliverables, and success criteria.Analyze system requirements, identify gaps, and drive process improvements.Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and scope changes.System Expertise & TrainingAct as SME for WMS and related applications, staying updated on enhancements.Translate business needs into technical requirements and configure applications.Lead testing efforts, process documentation, and user training.Mentor junior IT staff and business super users.Stakeholder & Vendor CommunicationBuild relationships with internal users, leadership, and external vendors.Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.Manage vendor support to ensure timely issue resolution.What you must have:5+ years in Application Support, Business Analysis, or related roles.Experience with WMS, supply chain processes, and shipping/picking technologies.Strong analytical and communication skills.Familiarity with APIs, EDI, and system integrations.Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).Degree in IT, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.Nice to have:Lean Six Sigma, logistics, or IT certifications.Experience with Wrike, ManageEngine, SQL, or BI tools (Power BI).Release management, Scrum, or process improvement experience.Salary/Rate Range: $80,000 – $90,000Interested?
