Requirements:
Master’s degree in education required; preference will be given to a doctorate in education. – At least one of : Recent full-time teaching experience in a school or school board administration, including two years of Ontario Curriculum implementation (subject – French) with a specialist qualification (subject – French) or – Current and refereed research record (subject – French), or – Recent comprehensive examination (Ph.D.) (subject – French); – Demonstrated knowledge of current Ontario Curriculum as it relates to French and Ontario Ministry of Education documents as they relate to French. – Proven ability to apply the Ontario College of Teachers’ Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics. – The University may consider experience or qualifications equivalent to those mentioned above.
