UNDP Egypt is seeking to hire an Arabic Editor and Proofreader to support the Egypt Country Office’s external communications and the development of outreach materials.

Task description

We are looking for 1 Online Volunteer who has experience in Arabic and English language translation and language editing and proofreading with excellent writing skills. The volunteer is expected to:
• Translate documents from Arabic to English and vice versa. Documents include but not limited to speeches, statements, op-eds, social media content and other communication and outreach materials taking into account grammar, style, content and format, as per UNDP Editorial guidelines.
The Online Volunteer will have the opportunity to build connections with the Communication Team at UNDP Egypt and learn about the ways in which communicating on the SDGs and sustainable development in Egypt can support the CO and Egypt’s broader development goals.
