Teacher of Art – EastbourneJanuary 2025Pay – £110 – £250Location – Eastbourne, East SussexContract – Full-time and part-time availableAbout the School:Supply Desk are working with an ambitious secondary school in Lewes, dedicated to promoting academic excellence. The school’s commitment to strong attainment across Key Stages reflects this. They are looking to appoint a talented and dedicated Art Teacher to deliver enthusiastic and engaging lessons for primarily Key Stages 3 and 4.About the role:This role is long-term and part-time. The successful candidate will be delivering Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 lessons in Art and the varied disciplines that the department offers, contributing to the school’s positive academic performance. The school are looking for someone with thorough and up-to-date subject knowledge and skills, good classroom management and a positive approach to teaching and building relationships.The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant subject. A recognised teaching qualification is a plus.
• Have recent experience teaching in UK Schools
• Be a committed team player
• Proven track record of high attainment in results
• Be confident and engaging when delivering lesson content
• Have strong classroom management and rapport-building skills
• Enthusiastic in contributing to the wider school community in and out of the classroom
