Responsabilidades clave

El(la) Asistente Administrativo(a), tendrá las siguientes responsabilidades:

  • Reunir información destinada claramente a servir de base para la redacción de documentos y la preparación de informes por parte de otros miembros del personal;
  • Responder a consultas y remitirlas, cuando proceda, a los niveles superiores, con el fin de prestar un servicio oportuno y correcto a los clientes;
  • Prestar apoyo al procesamiento y gestión de tareas administrativas y financieras ordinarias en diversas esferas funcionales, para contribuir a la gestión eficaz y oportuna de los recursos;
  • Prestar servicios de revisión y corrección de documentos estándar, para contribuir a la elaboración de documentación exacta;
  • Encargarse del mantenimiento de los sistemas y archivos estándar establecidos para garantizar que la información sea precisa y esté fácilmente disponible para la función de que se trate;
  • Detectar discrepancias sencillas en las estadísticas y los datos, como información faltante, y comunicarlas a funcionarios de categoría superior para ayudar a los clientes a realizar su trabajo;
  • Encargarse de la integridad de los datos para facilitar la disponibilidad de información precisa en los sistemas institucionales;
  • Proporcionar orientación sobre métodos y prácticas ordinarios de apoyo operativo a los colegas menos experimentados para velar por que los servicios se presten de forma coherente y de acuerdo con los requisitos establecidos;
  • Trabajar con una gran variedad de personas, recabando retroinformación, cuando proceda, para ayudar en la prestación de apoyo operativo al personal;
  • Otras tareas/actividades afines asignadas por la Representante;

Competencias

  • Poseer habilidades de comunicación que le permitan interactuar de manera asertiva y cooperativa con el personal de la oficina;
  • Capacidad para solucionar problemas de manera rápida y efectiva dentro de los procedimientos de la organización;
  • Debe poseer habilidades de organización, manejo eficiente de la información y del tiempo;
  • Manejo apropiado de la confidencialidad en los procesos realizados promoviendo los valores de la organización en todo momento;
  • Habilidad para elaborar reportes;

Calificaciones

  • Deseable contar con estudios universitarios completos, de preferencia en Administración de Empresas, Contabilidad, Ingeniería Industrial o similares;
  • Deseable poseer conocimiento de idioma inglés a nivel intermedio;
  • Importante poseer conocimiento de Excel a nivel intermedio;

Experiencia

  • Contar al menos con cuatro años de experiencia en posiciones similares;
  • Deseable contar con experiencia laboral dentro del Sistema de Naciones Unidas;

Términos y condiciones

Contrato de Servicios (SC) del Programa Mundial de Alimentos (WFP) por 12 meses con posibilidad de renovación.  El nivel salarial en la Escala Nacional de Naciones Unidas para un Contrato de Servicios será SC4.

Las personas contratadas bajo SC son consideradas como contratistas independientes y deben prestar recibos por honorarios para el pago de sus servicios. 

Los honorarios que perciben los titulares de estos contratos no están exentos del impuesto sobre la renta personal y, por tanto, es responsabilidad del contratado liquidar ante las autoridades nacionales los impuestos que se graven a sus honorarios profesionales, así como el correspondiente pago al fondo de pensiones de su elección.  WFP es un organismo internacional, no actúa como agente retenedor.
