As Aspen Project Officer, you’ll play a key role in creating a connected aspen network across the Cairngorms National Park, helping strengthen this remarkable species and the wildlife that depends on it. You’ll combine fieldwork, data analysis and collaboration with landowners, volunteers and partners to guide practical action on the ground. From protecting vulnerable aspen stands to identifying opportunities for new planting and habitat connectivity, your work will help restore resilient landscapes for nature.
Salary: £31,496 – 35,840 per annum pro rata
Hours: 28 hrs/pw, fixed term 21 months
Location: Findhorn Office (IV36) or Dundreggan Estate (IV63) or Hybrid. Project delivery in the Cairngorms National Park.
