Mission and objectives
The project aims to provide all kinds of guidance, counseling and psycho-social support for cancer patients through awareness and educational programs about the disease and ways to prevent it, and follow ups on the latest innovations of promising treatments for cancer.
Context
This task contributes to our organization’s objectives by supporting the development of high-quality educational materials for cancer patients, which is a critical component of quality cancer care. The articles written in English and Arabic will facilitate early cancer diagnosis, enhance treatment adherence, and improve outcomes for cancer patients, particularly in low- and middle-income countries where there is a significant need for effective patient education strategies. By providing accurate and accessible information, we can empower patients to take an active role in their treatment process, leading to better health outcomes and improved quality of life.
Task description
We are seeking 10 Online Volunteers to write short, informative articles in both English and Arabic to educate cancer patients about various aspects of cancer care and management. The articles will be used to support our organization’s mission to provide accessible and accurate information to cancer patients, their families, and caregivers.
1- Research and write short articles (approx. 500-750 words) on assigned topics related to cancer care, such as treatment options, symptom management, nutrition, and emotional well-being.
Ensure articles are accurate, up-to-date, and written in a clear, concise manner that is easy for patients to understand.
2- Translate articles from English to Arabic, ensuring cultural sensitivity and linguistic accuracy.
Meet deadlines and submit high-quality articles with reputable resources only on a regular basis.
