This role is within the Corporate Services Team and provides an opportunity to experience both Management and Financial Accounting alongside Business Partnering for Professional Service Departments at UWE Bristol.  The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be involved with Budgeting, Financial Year End and Monthly Management Accounting, while also having a portfolio of professional service departments to work with and provide financial guidance and support.

This will enable the right candidate to get a wide variety of practical experience in several detailed areas while also having involvement with the consolidation of this information to have sight of the finances of the whole organisation.

About you: As someone who has relevant experience you should enjoy working within this central team with the opportunity to contribute efficient delivery of the Corporate Services team portfolio. You will be a critical thinker who likes to constantly look at improving the service you provide as a business partner and have a strong determination to make processes more efficient. 

You will also have the opportunity to develop further your accounting experience as you contribute to the activities of the team.

You should have good communication skills and be willing to embrace integration and co-operation between teams and a continuous improvement working style.

Where is this role based?

This post is based at our lively Frenchay campus where we have invested in the latest facilities and resources to give both our staff and students access to everything they need to succeed, while we continue to develop incredible new facilities  to enhance our offer even further.

The campus has excellent transport links ; we are within walking distance of two train stations , our bus terminus connects us to the local bus and metrobus network and we also have a range of cycling and changing facilities.

This is a full -time, permanent post, working 37 hours per week. We can consider 0.8FTE.
