The Department of Marketing at the University of Arizona, Eller College of Management, invites applications from qualified candidates at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor of Marketing to begin as early as August 2023. The Department is seeking colleagues with research focused on quantitative marketing. The ideal candidate will have expertise in econometrics and marketing analytics.
We strive for excellence in both research and teaching; this is reflected by engagement in significant ongoing research and strong effectiveness in teaching. The faculty member will be expected to teach courses at undergraduate and graduate levels, contribute to mentoring students, and work with diverse students and colleagues, including those from underrepresented backgrounds. Our faculty’s research is published consistently in leading marketing journals, with faculty members consistently winning university and national awards for their research. The faculty member will also participate in outreach and contribute to departmental, college, and university service. In these and other ways, the faculty member will help develop innovative approaches to enhancing student engagement, increasing diversity, and expanding collaborations with community and business partners.
The Department of Marketing is one of six academic units in the Eller College of Management offering undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs. The Department is internationally recognized for pioneering research, innovative curriculum, and distinguished faculty. The department offers undergraduate programs in Marketing (both in-person and online), a Master’s of Science in Marketing program, and a highly competitive PhD program. The faculty also teach several required and elective courses in the Eller MBA program (full-time MBA, evening MBA, online MBA, and executive MBA).
