Position Title: Assistant/Associate Professor of Business Administration (tenure-track)
EmploymentType: Faculty in the areas of Project Management, Management, Human Resource Management, Economics, Marketing, and Supply Chain and Logistics.
Summary of Position:
The Assistant/Associate Professor within the MBA Program is a 10-month appointment that reports directly to the Division Chair of Business Administration. The faculty member should be a student-focused and centered educator committed to student learning, retention, persistence, and completion.
Primary areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:
· Teaching a variety of graduate business and quantitative courses and/or
undergraduate courses with a 4/4 teaching load.
· Candidate will also be required to maintain academic qualifications for
ACBSP.
· Responsible for advising students and creating individual educational
plans using degree audits tools.
· Experience in teaching across various course delivery formats.
· Collaborate with our Advisory Board members and corporate/business
partners to increase student engagement.
· Maintain office hours to assist students with course/ subject mastery.
· Assign grades and maintain course/student records in accordance with
FERPA regulations and submit
· Grades and records by established deadlines.
· Evaluate and revise curriculum, course materials, and delivery methods as
changes in the field and teaching environments warrant.
· Responsible for advising, participation in curriculum review and
development, and assessment of student learning.
· Conduct scholarly research and be involved in service to the regional
business community.
· Collaborate with Career Services to foster relationships with corporations
for recruiting and placement of MBA students.
· Represent the MBA program in faculty and administrative meetings as well
as on committees, advisory boards and public presentations and
conferences on MBA Education.
· Overseeing special projects and initiatives identified by the Division Chair
of Business Administration.
· Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· A terminal degree from a regionally accredited institution in a relevant field
is required.
· Highly effective communicator, both in writing and speaking, with an ability
to inspire students, faculty, and business partners.
· Candidate will have at least three to five years of progressive experience in
teaching at the higher education level.
· Experience with online education and new technologies for teaching.
· Knowledge of MBA markets, rankings, leading practices, and accreditation
standards.

· Certifications; PMP, CAPM, Six Sigma etc.
