The Assistant Branch Manager is responsible for managing shipping and receiving activities. The incumbent is responsible for customer service, sales, the purchase of goods and the general smooth running of the warehouse including the supervision of employees
.
Responsibilities and Tasks:Coordinate shipments:

• Deliver purchase orders to the warehouse clerk and supervise order preparation
• Manage the shipping schedule (type of transport, sectors, transfers, etc.) and contact carriers as needed
• Prepare transit vouchers, give them to drivers and keep a copy

Manage receipts:

• Receive information about deliveries
• Manage the receiving schedule and contact carriers as needed
• Verify products received in bulk
• Take receipt notes verified by the warehouse clerk and revise them
• Perform Goods Receipt in the System
• Manage warehousing and ensure the functional layout of the warehouse

Manage People:

• Coach and mentor staff
• Manage attendance policies

Store Front:

• Provide customer service
• Provide sales support to walk in customers

Expected salary

$55000 – 60000 per year
