Job Title: Assistant Bulk ManagerLocation: Hamilton, OntarioSalary: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour, with Group Benefits after 3 monthsAre you passionate about landscaping and customer service? Our dedication to excellence has earned us 9 Landscape Ontario awards in 2021 for our outstanding residential and commercial projects.Position Overview: As the Assistant Bulk Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the daily operations of our Ridge Soils bulk retail department. From assisting customers with landscape materials purchases to coordinating deliveries, your contributions will directly impact our success.Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Manager in operating and managing the landscape bulk products retail store.
  • Ensure all essential products are stocked and available for customers at all times.
  • Coordinate deliveries and make small deliveries with the dump truck (Isuzu).
  • Supervise staff working at the bulk division.
  • Assist customers with loading materials and provide exceptional service.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relations.
  • Support operations to ensure the profitability of your division.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bulk areas.
  • Handle payments from customers and submit them to Accounting daily.

Requirements:

  • Valid G Driver’s license and a minimum of 3 years CVOR driving experience.
  • Clean Driver’s Abstract and reliable transportation.
  • 2 years of experience in a sales or retail role.
  • Proficiency in operating a skid steer loader.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of construction and landscaping.
  • Availability to work weekends.
  • Strong knowledge of job safety and safe work habits.

Additional Information: This is a seasonal position that operates during the spring, summer, and fall seasons.
