The Sutton Place Hotel located at the base of Revelstoke Mountain features 222 luxurious condominium style units, year-round outdoor pool, hot tubs and fitness center. This property consists of three buildings connected by an underground heated parking facility and is serviced by a beautifully appointed central lobby. Located minutes from downtown Revelstoke additional amenities include the Rockford | Wok | Bar | Grill, Mackenzie Common Tavern, La Baguette and Feather and Stone Day Spa.We are currently considering candidates for the following position:Assistant Maintenance ManagerThe successful applicant will assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel’s Maintenance department, ensuring that the physical plant and product are maintained to the highest standard. The Assistant Manager will support the Maintenance Manager in leading and developing the team, troubleshooting mechanical and operational problems, and contributing to effective project management to meet company and departmental goals within budgetary guidelines. They will also assist in the creation of preventative maintenance and safety programs and coordinate with other departments to ensure that all guest expectations are exceeded.Requirements:This is a great opportunity for a highly organized, results-oriented individual with innovative problem-solving skills and a proven ability to take on leadership responsibilities in a supporting role. The successful candidate must:

• Have extensive knowledge of HVAC, Building Trades & mechanical-electrical equipment, with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot mechanical and operational problems and assist in developing preventative maintenance programs as needed.
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support a team effectively.
• Have 2-3 years of management experience in institutional property maintenance, with at least 1-2 years in the hotel industry (preferred).
• Be a strategic thinker, able to assist in planning and organizing projects with an emphasis on achieving objectives within deadlines, focusing on quality and fiscal results.
• Be proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and resolving them in a timely manner with sound decision-making skills.
• Have working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Maestro, or similar software.
• A Trades Certification &/or 4th or 5th Class Power Engineering Ticket is preferred
• This role must be available to be on-call for emergencies (rotating emergency on call schedule)
