Candidates will have an internationally leading research profile and be able to provide academic leadership. Ideal candidates should have strong research programmes, a commitment to teaching and a potential of attracting research funding and supervision of research students.Further information about the role can be found at https://warwick.ac.uk/fac/cross_fac/dimap/focs_post_2024/About YouPreference will be given to candidates with an independent research agenda who will: (i) complement existing strengths in the Theory and Foundations Research Group (https://warwick.ac.uk/dcs/research/focs/) at the Department of Computer Science, and the Centre for Discrete Mathematics and its Applications (DIMAP; https://warwick.ac.uk/dimap/), and (ii) bridge between existing areas of expertise within the Theory Group at the Departments of Computer Science and DIMAP. Relevant areas of interest include, but are not limited to, design and analysis of algorithms and data structures, computational complexity, theoretical computer science, discrete mathematics, combinatorics, and graph theory.Applications will be considered on their merits.
