ENG436224The University of Nottingham seeks applications for a full-time Assistant Professor in Aerospace Flight Dynamics and Control to contribute to teaching on our growing undergraduate taught programs in Aerospace engineering.Candidates with a suitable research track record and a PhD may be appointed to a research and teaching (R&T) role and join one of the Faculty of Engineering’s research groups, contributing to the Faculty’s world leading academic expertise. For candidates without a research track record, but with appropriate industrial/business experience, we would welcome applications for a teaching and curriculum leadership (T&L) role.It is expected that the ideal candidate will have expertise in broad areas related to aerospace flight dynamics and control, including but not limited to: aircraft design and performance, dynamics and flight control, advanced flight dynamics and advanced control for air and spacecraft.The role holder will take responsibility for delivering high quality teaching and contributing to the planning, design, development and delivery of materials for undergraduate programmes in the Department of Mechanical, Materials and Manufacturing Engineering.
