The Law School at Durham University seeks to appoint a talented individual to the role of Assistant Professor in Financial Law. We welcome applications from those with research and teaching interests in the broader field of financial law, whether financial regulation, corporate finance, or banking/securities law. The post holder must be able to teach on the Law School’s modules pertaining to the area of Financial Law. These include the Financial Law module currently delivered in the second year of our LLB, the Corporate Finance module taught in the third year of our LLB, and the more advanced modules taught in the MSc in Law and Finance and the LLMs. These modules cover various topics, including banking law and regulation, securities law and regulations, contractual aspects of finance, FinTech, and international and EU financial law.This post offers an exciting opportunity to make a major contribution to the development of internationally excellent research and teaching while allowing you unrivalled opportunities to progress and embed your career in an exciting and progressive institution.
