The appointee will help develop our UK undergraduate and postgraduate degree apprenticeship programmes including but not limited to the area of Information Systems and Digital Transformation, and provide general service to the University within and across faculties. In the first instance, the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the development and delivery of the university’s online BSc Digital and Technology Solutions and MSc Digital and Technology Solutions.We wish to appoint a specialist in Information Systems and Digital Transformation. Preference may be given to candidates with experience of English apprenticeships and active interests in the relationship of change management and/or enterprise architecture. Core duties will include the development and teaching of cutting-edge courses in Information Systems and Digital Transformation both online and on campus, assessment and moderation, student support, peer review, etc. Indicative subject areas may include (but are not limited to) Information Systems, Digital Leadership & Management, and Enterprise Architecture.We particularly encourage applications from those with an interest in innovative teaching, learning and assessment; those with experience of supporting a wide variety of students; and those belonging to groups underrepresented in UK higher education. It is home to four interdisciplinary undergraduate dual-degree (in UK and US) programmes in the areas of Data Science, Data Science and Politics, Computer Science and Business, and Computer Science and Philosophy; four postgraduate programs in the areas of AI Ethics, Data Science, Computer Science, and Technology Leadership; and five degree apprenticeship programmes in the areas of AI, Data Science, Digital and Technology Solutions, and Biosciences.   • PhD completed, or equivalent professional experience, in a relevant area.
  • FHEA status, or equivalent, achieved or expected.

  • Teaching competency in Information Systems and Digital Transformation to Levels 4-7 (i.e., all undergraduate and postgraduate levels)
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills including presentation skills, both face-to-face and online
  • Excellent IT skills and evidence of supporting the integration of technologies into learning and teaching.
  • Excellent time-management and organisational skills
