The Department of Performance invites applications for a Contract Academic Staff position in Voice at the rank of Assistant Professor, for an initial 3-year appointment beginning August 1, 2025. Applications at the rank of Associate Professor may be considered for exceptional candidates.
Duties: The position will comprise two duties: teaching and service. Teaching will include studio performance instruction, graduate supervision, and may include courses in the area of expertise. Service may include recruitment, active participation in area, departmental and faculty governance, service to the professional community.
Qualifications: Doctorate or equivalent professional experience with a significant international profile and a broad range of repertoire interests and knowledge. Recognized excellence in teaching students at the highest professional level. Leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills will also be considered.
