Please submit your application following the instructions below.The Lazaridis School of Business & Economics (Lazaridis School) at Wilfrid Laurier University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in the Operations and Decision Sciences area, commencing July 1, 2025. Please note that this position is subject to budgetary approval.Qualifications for the position include a Ph.D. degree (obtained within the last two years or expected completion within the next year) in Management Science, Operations Research, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or a related field and a strong record or promise in research and teaching.Successful candidates for the position must have:

  • Proven research potential in operations management and/or business analytics.
  • Ability to publish in top-tier journals and maintain a productive research agenda.
  • Ability to effectively teach core decision sciences, operations management, and business analytics courses at the undergraduate and graduate (MBA, MMA, MSc, and PhD) levels.
  • Proficiency in data science fields such as AI, machine learning and data visualization.
