The role
In the role of Assistant Project Account, Infrastructure you support the Project Management team on projects with project financial and monthly reporting into the internal finance department at Palladium. You will also contribute to the ongoing maintenance of the systems that are in place for t he overall development of the Project Management Plan.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support with the systems and processes for the timely delivery of projects and milestones that are agreed with the client.
- Ensure systems are in place to develop and maintain a Project Cost Management Plan.
- Agree Project budgets (internally with Palladium Infrastructure team) and external individual project budgets.
- Support project financial forecast and budget reporting.
- Record and monitor expenditure on a monthly basis and identify variances from budgets and reasons.
- Notify the Project Director about any potential financial issues and agree remedial actions.
- Act as the primary liaison between the Project Teams and Palladium’s APAC Finance Team.
- Prepare invoices for clients and monitor the payment process.
About You
You will have previously worked in a similar role, operating within a Finance team, supporting a range of Projects or Programs with a range of requests. You have excellent MS Excel skills and are comfortable navigating complex systems.
Additional key requirements include:
- An eye for accuracy and attention to detail in a matrixed organisation.
- Ability to meet deadlines and a collaborative approach to working to agreed timescales.
- Previous experience in Government funded projects is a plus.
