University of Liverpool
We are seeking a part time (0.5 FTE) grade 6 prosector on the teaching pathway to join our small and dedicated team of lecturers, demonstrators and technicians.
Role: Duties will focus on assisting the prosector in the creation of prosected material to be used within our undergraduate, postgraduate, and clinical training courses. The post is directly accountable to the Director and Deputy Director of HARC. Duties will vary from time to time.
This role will have the option of studying for a PhD alongside the part time prosecting work. UK domestic equivalent fees will be waived with a further budget of £1000 per year of research expenses.
Applicant: You will have extensive experience of human dissection, have created prosections in the past and you will have substantial knowledge of all regions of human anatomy. You should be conversant with Human Tissues Authority (HTA) regulatory processes. You should have a degree in Human Anatomy or a closely related subject.
The University has the right to close the vacancy early if it is deemed that there have been enough applications received.
