We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Registrar (Executive Support) for a fixed term of 12 months as Maternity Leave cover.

This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with the Vice-Chancellor and Registrar, who play key leadership roles in university strategy, policy and decision-making in the University and externally.

The Assistant Registrar – Executive Support will posses leadership and management potential and the personal aptitudes and resilience to succeed in HE. The post holder will be a graduate with very strong intellectual skills, confidence and a real interest in and understanding of HE.

The Assistant Registrar – Executive Support will be highly motivated, have a ‘can do’ attitude, be flexible, resourceful and be able to take a concept through to successful implementation. Processing excellent administrative and organisational abilities, they need to be able to use their own initiative to manage multiple projects and tasks with minimum direction. They will have outstanding writing skills and be able to write papers, speeches and other communications in a style and quality to be published in the Vice-Chancellor’s or Registrar’s name, tailored to a range of audiences. Overall, the post holder’s successful work and activities will enable the Vice-Chancellor and Registrar to be more effective.
