Innovative teaching and faculty-student interactions are highly valued and are a draw for many students and faculty.We are excited to invite applications for a full-time 12 months limited-term contract, at the Assistant Teaching Professor level in Social Psychology. This position is dependent on budgetary approval. The appointment is scheduled to commence on August 1, 2024.The successful candidate will teach upper level undergraduate courses in the area of social psychology and/or related areas, according to the candidate’s expertise, as well as introductory psychology. The candidate will be expected to teach four courses in the fall semester and four courses in the winter semester (at most three distinct preps within a semester). The successful candidate will be committed to scholarly teaching.The successful candidate will contribute to sustaining the collegiality and reputation of the department, with service responsibilities to support Departmental initiatives initially, and expanding to include activities to support Divisional and Institutional objectives. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to engage diverse student populations.
