Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Teaching and Instructing Scholar-Athletes; Educating and Getting ready Scholar-Athletes for Competitors: 60%

• Evaluating, Recruiting and Retaining Scholar-Athletes: 30%

• Neighborhood Outreach & Crew Volunteerism Coordination: 10%

Furthermore, the Assistant Males’s & Girls’s Observe & Discipline Coach will:

• Frequently promote the College’s mission, imaginative and prescient and accomplishments. 

• Settle for and be attentive to the well being and welfare of student-athletes as a main duty. 

• Help and assist Head Males’s & Girls’s Observe & Discipline/Cross Nation Coach with all areas of the boys’s and ladies’s monitor & discipline applications. 

• Carry out further duties as assigned by Vice President, Athletics & Recreation, his or her designee, and/or Head Males’s & Girls’s Observe & Discipline/Cross Nation Coach.   

• Maintain a present and complete understanding of the College of New Orleans, Southland Convention and NCAA guidelines & laws.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Bachelor’s diploma

• 1-3 years skilled expertise as a highschool, faculty or skilled coach. 

• Thorough data of and dedication to NCAA compliance and College of New Orleans insurance policies and procedures.

• Confirmed capability to construct rapport and efficient, collaborative relationships with student-athletes, fellow coaches, administration, school and alumni.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
