Description and RequirementsWork Location: HybridPosition Type: Contract, 16 months (potential for conversion to permanent)Location: TorontoCompensation Range: $20.00 – $29.00 per hourOur multinational insurance client is looking for an Associate Client Manager for the team. The Associate Client Manager role is an entry-level position that offers the opportunity to gain foundational skills in Property & Casualty insurance. The role is a support function that aids client service teams in day-to-day transactional activities. Colleagues in this role will support internal clients, working with multiple teams/markets/regions.Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate policy details in the Management System
  • Provide support on the invoicing process including review for SOX compliance and coordination of Surplus Lines documentation
  • Initiate timely renewal process by updating/reviewing exposure gathering workbook
  • Attach information in the Client Portal system

Qualifications:

  • With 1-2 years of commercial insurance experience, a RIBO license is preferred.
  • Must successfully complete appropriate licensing exam(s) and/or maintain required licensing by completing various continuing education activities as needed.
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Office and proven ability to learn and utilize new technology
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Project management skills including attention to detail, organizational skills, prioritization, and time management.
  • Problem-solving abilities, including critical thinking and adaptability
  • The ability to apply judgment in your daily routine
  • Relationship management and customer focus – collaborate to serve internal clients and help resolve conflicts.
  • Works respectfully with team members and consults more senior members of the team when required.
  • Intellectual curiosity to help develop innovative and creative ideas
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude, copes with change and new challenges relating to own work tasks shows tolerance for uncertainty/ambiguity and escalates to the manager when clarity is needed.
