We would like to add to the team an (Associate) Director role dedicated to serving our clients responsible for successful reimbursement of innovation in the UK market. The role of the UK HTA (Associate) Director is a leadership role within the EMEA RW MEG team and is expected to play an important role in shaping the team’s UK health economics and HTA offerings. There will also be opportunities to expand your portfolio into other areas, if desired. The role is UK-based with flexibility regarding location and frequency of office and home working.As part of the broader team you will:Take ownership of UK client relationships, lead proposals and business development activities to secure projects from UK clients to support their local HTA needs, i.e., NICE and SMC submissionsTake responsibility for revenue targets for UK health economics and HTA offeringsLead the project delivery teams as Principal-in-Charge (PIC), ensuring UK HTA projects are completed on time, to the appropriate quality, on budget, and at the expected profit marginsContribute to team building including interviewing, mentoring and training juniors, and activities to motivate and retain staffLine manage a team/number of individuals developing their professional career as health economists and HTA experts and foster their career developmentProvide technical health economic and HTA input and strategic guidance across the UK Real World business areas and the full breadth of therapeutic areasProvide technical training sessions on UK HTA requirements and advancements, coach and mentor junior and senior team membersRepresent IQVIA in public through participation in conferences and symposiumsPromote and advance the internal and external team profile through contributions to thought leadership, methods development/application and academic collaborationsLead collaborations with other business areas and functions of the organisation to deliver client services and drive the development of new offeringsQualifications and skillsTo be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate all of the below:MPH, MSc or PhD (or an equivalent degree) in health economics, epidemiology, biostatistics or related discipline10+ years of experience in designing and executing health economic studies and leading clients though UK HTA processesExperience working at management level with responsibility for leading business initiatives and teamsDeep knowledge of UK HTA requirements and approaches in health economicsExpert understanding of the use of health economics and modelling for HTAAlready have an established network of contacts in the UK’s pharmaceutical industry, academia and/or HTA bodiesStrong consulting and client engagement skillsProven ability to lead teams and to build and manage relationships in a multi-cultural environmentHistory of successful project management, including client negotiations, contracting experience and scope managementPrior experience working in a consultancy, CRO or life sciences companyStrong written and verbal communication skills with fluency in EnglishOur commitment to youIQVIA are committed to your professional growth in the healthcare industry.
