Location: University of Warwick Campus, CoventryAbout the RoleFor informal enquiries, please contact Steve Maggs (Professor (Teaching Focussed)) at .As the Head of WMG Skills Centre, you will lead the charge in establishing our Centre as a global leader in workforce development and industry-aligned upskilling programs. This is a pivotal role where you will craft and execute the strategic vision for the Centre, ensuring it meets WMG’s broader goals while driving innovation in how we deliver cutting-edge, non-award courses across a wide range of disciplines.You will oversee the operational aspects of the Centre, working closely with professional services colleagues, Learning Designers, Project Managers, and support staff to deliver impactful and customized learning experiences. Your role will be instrumental in developing and fostering relationships with industry partners, ensuring our programs meet the evolving needs of the workforce.In addition to your leadership responsibilities, you will be able to contribute to either the teaching of either skills centre courses or other WMG academic courses. Your ability to innovate with new learning formats, such as micro-credentials and virtual reality simulations, will set the standard for excellence and industry relevance.We offer a dynamic and supportive environment where your strategic vision can thrive.
