Associate Professor in Accounting (Teaching Focused)

About the role
In this teaching focussed role you will provide inspiration and leadership to the delivery and development of the School’s undergraduate and taught postgraduate provision in accounting. You will undertake, lead and develop teaching in line with the School’s Strategy. The successful applicant will provide academic and professional leadership within the School and across their own specialism, ensuring excellence in teaching and curriculum design on an international level. You will be expected to develop and deliver high quality lectures and seminars on a range of accounting areas. Scholarship or pedagogical research to underpin innovation in accounting teaching and to enhance the student experience is also strongly encouraged.
About you
You will have an established reputation for innovative learning and teaching, gained in either the university sector or through the training of professional accountants. You will be able to show evidence of successful administration preferably in a teaching role.  You will be expected to help ensure that our students receive an accounting education that allows them to make the very best of their potential.
