Salary: Full time starting salary is normally in the range £56,921 to £65,814 with potential progression once in post to £85,544Role SummaryThe Department of Dentistry, School of Health Sciences, College of Medicine and Health at The University of Birmingham invites applications from exceptional and ambitious biological scientists for the role of Associate Professor in Oral Biology. The successful applicant will join a highly motivated, collaborative and successful interdisciplinary team of internationally recognised academics who focus on unravelling the biological basis of oral and associated systemic diseases and on the development of innovative solutions that bring impactful change for effective clinical care. Person SpecificationNormally, a higher degree relevant to the research/teaching area (usually PhD) or equivalent qualifications.The ideal candidate would have a demonstrably successful track record (in terms of grant funding, publications and postgraduate supervision) in subjects related to oral hard tissues biology research (dentine, enamel, cement, bone) their development, healing and potential regeneration.
