It aims to provide research and curriculum development to deliver improved engineering education worldwide. It is actively engaged in the engineering education research community and in using that evidence-based research to deliver innovative and high-quality student experiences at UCL and for external partners through collaborative consultancy projects.About the roleThis post will lead the delivery and continued development and improvement of the programme. They will lead the teaching team who deliver core modules and provide the pastoral and academic support to a cohort of around 50 students. The post will also oversee the student recruitment and student support.The postholder will Lead the team who deliver the Engineering Foundation Year programme and oversee regular curriculum review and continuous development and contribute to the assurance and enhancement of teaching quality and the student experience.The post holder will also contribute to training of teaching and professional services staff including sharing good practice and developments in teaching. They will develop effective partnerships with students to ensure the student voice is central to decision making.The post holder will carry out any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by the Line Manager.This appointment is subject to UCL Terms and Conditions of Service for Research and Professional Services Staff.
