Core research areas include fashion and textiles, luxury, sustainability, and smart textile design & technologies for social, economic and environmental benefits textile design and manufacturing, and e-textiles with sustainability embedded across the subjects.The roleThis role focuses on maintaining our growing national and international reputation in textiles and textile research, including sustainability, advanced manufacturing, new materials/fibres, and E-textiles. The role will focus on the delivery of high-quality education, as well as leadership of research, knowledge exchange and impact in the school’s key research areas.About YouYou will have a proven track record of developing and delivering an excellent standard of teaching at all levels, as well as being a research leader. You will also have experience of leading programmes and developing national and international partnerships, growing the strength a dynamic group of academics that are leading the subject of Textiles.
