This role offers a unique chance to advance science by shaping content in a top open-access life sciences journal. As an Associate Scientific Editor, you’ll critically contribute to peer review, manuscript selection, and scientific communication.ResponsibilitiesOverseeing the peer review and publication process of a growing open access journalWorking with a team of scientific editors to build and develop exciting content across biologyBuilding effective working relationships with colleagues across Cell PressNetworking with researchers at conferences and site visitsRequirementsHave a PhD or other relevant doctoral degree in any discipline in biologyHave Postdoctoral experienceHave broad scientific interests and curiosity; a passion for helping scientists publish their best workHave excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize and focusWork in a way that works for youWe promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation.
