The Astrophoria Foundation Year seeks to appoint a Law Subject Lead for the Astrophoria Foundation Year Law course. This exciting position is a crucial part of delivering this programme for the first cohort of the students joining the University of Oxford in September 2023.

This role is equivalent to 0.1FTE and will have joint oversight for the Foundation Year Law course and specific responsibility for the relevant part of the course. The post holder will have a range of duties including being part of the Law Foundation Year academic team, organise specific areas of the syllabus, produce course materials and provide supervisory support and line management for course teaching staff.

The Astrophoria Foundation Year is a one-year fully-funded foundation programme for UK state school students with significant academic potential, who have experienced severe personal disadvantage and/or disrupted education which has resulted in them being unable to apply directly for an Oxford undergraduate degree programme.
