Position: Tutor (Teaching Assistant)Location: Grinstead Lane, East Grinstead
Hours: 38.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:45am – 5:00pm (4:30pm finish on Fridays)
Salary: £23,368 per annum (based on experience)
School Year: Approx. 42 weeks a year across three terms
Probation Period: Six months
Full Training and Development Programme Provided
This position is also available for student placements.About the Role:We are looking for passionate individuals to join our specialised team as a Tutor (Teaching Assistant). In this role, you’ll work directly with pupils, offering support and teaching tailored to their individual needs, with a focus on communication and life skills. You will be involved in:

• Delivering sessions that follow each pupil’s personal targets using Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA).
• Supporting pupils during group sessions and external activities such as swimming, horse riding, or trampolining.
• Assisting with snack and lunch duties, encouraging healthy food choices.
• Providing behavioural management support to help reduce challenging behaviours.
• Tracking and logging pupil progress throughout the day, adjusting targets with the team as needed.
• Attending after-school training sessions and completing relevant paperwork.
