Our customers are OEMs and Tier 1 in the automotive, aerospace, defense, and railway sectors seeking to achieve Functional Safety (ISO 26262, DO-178C, DO-254, ARP-4761, ARP-4754, EN50128) and cybersecurity (DO-326A, ISO 21434) certifications to commercialize their technologies.Job DescriptionToday CS Group Canada is looking for an Automotive Embedded Software Engineer to work on the design, the unit test and integration test of next generation Autonomous driving platformsResponsibilities:Under the responsibility of the Software Engineering Senior Technical Lead, you will be integrated in an engineering Team and your tasks will be to:

  • Carry out the software testing in accordance with ISO26262.
  • Develop and run the relevant tests (unit and integration test) on the test platforms to verify correctness of design.
  • Debug issues (raised during the software development cycle).
  • Update the design based on design details templates/guidelines and issues raised during testing.
  • Ensure traceability between all the software design and tests artefacts.
  • Contribute to the testing strategy.
  • Conduct independent peer reviews on tests or design produced by other team members (80% in India and 20% in Canada)
  • Draft all the final technical documents.
  • Participate to continuous improvement of the team performance (quality, efficiency, on-time delivery).

Qualifications

  • Expert in Automotive domain
  • Experience in Automotive standards ISO-26262 (ASIL-A, B & C) and ASPICE (QM) compliance.
  • Experience with UML design using Enterprise Architect
  • Expertise in C++
  • Expertise in developing, executing, and reviewing unit tests and integration tests cases.
  • Expertise with Vectorcast for unit tests and integration tests
  • Expertise with structural coverage analyses
  • Experience in Embedded Testing (MCDC, BVA. Range, Robustness, Equivelance class)
  • Knowledge of Test environment creation

Asset qualifications :

  • Knowledge of using Azure in testing for uploading test cases
  • Agile Scrum methodology
  • Jira
  • Tricore compiler
  • Azure repository
  • Experience in DO178B/C, Embedded C
  • Experience in Requirement Based Testing (SSIT and HSIT)
  • Experience in Model Based Testing using SCADE QTE
  • Experience in Failure analysis and detection resolution
  • Experience with Matlab/Simulink
  • Experience with Autosar
  • Knowledge of communication protocols like Arinc429 / CAN / I2C / SPI protocol.
