Key Role:

Serve as an Aviation Planner on a team that performs advanced analytical and technical scenario design and planning tasks in support of collective training operations. Assist in the development of Operational Environments and Scenarios from the theater to brigade levels. Develop Army and Joint Aviation Operation Orders and Annexes, digital and analog graphics, and exercise materials to support the Army’s Combat Training Exercise Program. Attend planning workshops to develop and assist in the development of aviation products and concepts. Assist and advise sustainment commanders and staffs during exercise planning and execution. Assist in the development of and participate in the sustainment of higher, adjacent, lower, supporting, and supported response cells during exercise execution.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 13+ years of experience with Army Aviation planning
  • 5+ years of experience training military units or planning military exercises
  • Experience serving on division or Aviation Brigade level staffs
  • Experience in exercise design, coordination, and execution, including events at the tactical and operational levels
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office 365 suite of tools, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams
  • Ability to perform activities with a very high degree of attention to detail
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience using the Tactical Airspace Integration System
  • Experience with Airspace Usage Requests, exercise control, and Division Airspace Management
  • Knowledge of current Joint and Army Aviation doctrine, tactics, techniques, and procedures, and force structure
  • Knowledge of TRADOC ODIN and the Decisive Action Training Environment

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
