ShareLocated in Edmonton, ABSalary: $25 – $35/hourAn Edmonton client is seeking a Backhoe Operator to join their team.Backhoe Operator Highlights:· We are seeking an experienced Backhoe Operator to join our dynamic team in the Edmonton area. If you have a strong background in excavation and utility trenching, this is a great opportunity to showcase your skills while working on essential infrastructure projects.· Operate Backhoe or Trackhoe to dig precise trenches for utility installations including water, gas, and communications lines.· Execute excavation work on residential and utility projects to support the installation of mainline water, sewer systems, or basements.· Collaborate with the site foreman and assist in allocating duties as needed for efficient project completion.· Ensure site safety and operational efficiency during all excavation and trenching activities.· Maintain and manage equipment, reporting any malfunctions to supervisors to ensure proper functioning.· 2+ years of hands-on experience operating Backhoe or Trackhoe for utility trenching and excavation tasks.· Experience in digging trenches for water, sewer utilities, or basement foundations.· Capability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.· Reliable transportation to job sites in Edmonton and surrounding areas.· First Aid Certification is an asset but not mandatory.· No pre-employment testing required.Backhoe Operator Hours & Wage· Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM· $25 – $35/hourAbout Us:Express Employment Professionals works with job seekers to help them find the right job based on their skills and experience.
