• Work on a broad range of banking and finance matters, including corporate lending, acquisition finance, debt restructuring, and asset finance.
• Assist clients with complex financial transactions, ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Provide strategic legal advice to a diverse client base, including banks, financial institutions, and corporate clients, on financing arrangements, security interests, and structuring.
• Draft and review key documents, including loan agreements, security documents, and restructuring proposals.
• Support senior lawyers in managing high-profile transactions, including advising on the legal and commercial implications of deal structures.
• Liaise with clients, external stakeholders, and other advisers to ensure smooth and effective transaction execution.
• Stay up-to-date with developments in banking and finance law to provide clients with cutting-edge advice and guidance.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships, delivering exceptional service and commercial insights.

Key Skills & Experience:

• 1+ years PQE as a Banking & Finance Solicitor, with a solid understanding of the key areas of banking and finance law.
• Experience in corporate lending, debt finance, or restructuring would be advantageous.
• A strong academic background, with a keen interest in finance law and its practical applications.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and legal research skills.
• Ability to work on high-value, complex transactions, ensuring attention to detail and accuracy.
• A proactive, client-focused approach, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
