1524139Behaviour Support WorkerWe are currently working with Leeds partner School to recruit a dedicated Behaviour Support Worker. This is a full time Behaviour Support Worker placement and will be to start ASAP until the end of the Summer term, in the first instance, with a potential to be extended into next year.Our Behaviour Support Workers are given an opportunity to make a positive impact on some of the most at-risk children in the area and to provide support for these children to progress to the next stages of their education.Who are we looking for?A successful candidate would:
- Have experience in an educational setting either in mainstream schools or any other alternative provision.
- A history of working with students with challenging behaviour.
- A confident, caring, and assertive personality
What to expect?
- Working in these settings requires patience, confidence, and a caring attitude as many of these students have difficult social, emotional, and mental health issues which need to be managed.
- Many of the students will have difficulties in displaying these emotions in a productive way so the use of Team Teach positive behaviour management strategies will need to be used often.
- Many of these children have low self esteem and will require positive re enforcement from you when they display good behaviours.
