- Perform various validations of data entry and data produced by our administration systems and prepare and validate client reports
- Prepare, validate and send the benefits related payroll files to our clients, as well as the eligibility files to different carriers
- Respond to requests from clients, participants, and various authorized internal or external partners (2nd level contact center calls, insurer requests, etc.), taking care to communicate relevant information and to make appropriate follow-ups
- Prepare and send written communications to our clients’ employees and retirees.
- Meet client deadlines according to the service level agreements by appropriately managing and prioritizing assigned tasks while ensuring quality control.
- Comply with the best practices available including standards of confidentiality and peer review.
- Be available outside of regular business hours to perform business systems testing, as required
- Participate in special projects (annual enrolment, certification of dependent children, change of rates) as well as new implementations, according to the needs of the department
- Maintain administrative procedures up to date and ensure that any changes are documented
Succeeding as a Analyst, Employee Benefits Administration will require the following core qualifications and skills:
- University or college diploma in business administration or equivalent professional experience of at least 1 year
- Ability to understand and use current technology tools and have a very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Have initiative and excellent ability to handle and analyze databases, payroll files, insurer eligibility files and premium reports
- Bilingualism and very good oral and written communication skills
- Enthusiasm, team spirit and ability to work without supervision and under pressure
- Good learning skills and professional judgment
- Bilingual (English and French)
