Permanent Full TimeThe office coordinator is responsible for effectively managing the overall infrastructure of the Disability Insurance Management Office. This position also leads the administrative support team. This position is responsible for certain human resources functions, including recruiting. They are also responsible for collecting and analyzing data necessary to ensure effective operational management of the office.Responsibilities:

  • Bilingual in French and English is a requirement
  • Recruitment and performance management of direct reports, including coaching and staff development.
  • Ensure training of the administrative support team.
  • Responsible for physical office installations, including making modifications to existing offices and developing new space plans.
  • Ensure that all information resources are catalogued, updated and easily accessible.
  • Coordinate and implement all system enhancements and subsequent system maintenance.
  • Implement and monitor office workflow in an imaged environment.
  • Provide office-based support to the Regional Director in the areas of work volume, productivity and financial management.
  • An ongoing commitment to demonstrating and sharing our core values of integrity, partnership, excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Lead the Admin team, support training, coaching, planning, and auditing.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Management experience required
  • Experience in performance management (e.g. experience setting up performance appraisal processes, attendance and performance management, etc.)
  • Strong interview skills and experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Strong aptitude for mathematics
  • Customer service orientation (external and internal)
  • Experience in Disability management would be an asset
  • An understanding of Disability systems and technical support would be an asset

Reliability Status security clearance – this is a personnel security status that is required before an employee can gain access to Protected B information, assets or work sites as outlined by the website. The cost of submitting these checks will be covered by Canada Life.The base salary for this position is between $57,100.00 minimum – $95,200.00 maximum annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
