Job Description:We are offering a contract for a Billing Analyst position in Concord, Ontario. In this role, you will play a key part in managing our customer’s financial transactions and records. Your tasks will involve data extraction, invoice creation, and account reconciliation, among others. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth processing of accounts receivable.Responsibilities:

  • Extract pertinent financial and transactional data from our internal systems to generate accurate invoices
  • Prepare and input invoices in QuickBooks, verifying the accuracy of details such as client information and amounts
  • Monitor and manage accounts receivable, ensuring prompt processing of payments and addressing discrepancies swiftly
  • Attach necessary documents to corresponding invoices based on the extracted data, ensuring their accuracy and proper formatting
  • Review and validate the data extracted to confirm its accuracy and consistency with the billing information, resolving any discrepancies that may arise
  • Engage in communication with clients as necessary to address billing issues, answer queries, or provide invoice-related documentation
  • Contribute to the generation of regular reports on accounts receivable, invoice aging, and other financial metrics, ensuring timely updates to our financial records
  • Work in coordination with the logistics, sales, and customer service teams to collect relevant data for invoicing and ensure seamless processing of accounts receivable
  • Assist in reconciling accounts receivable, ensuring that payments are correctly applied within QuickBooks.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Billing Analyst role or similar field
  • Proficient in Data Mining Techniques and Data Visualization
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to understand and write Business Requirement Documents
  • Demonstrable ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Expected salary

$25 – 28 per hour
