An exciting opportunity has arisen within Molecular Pathology at Southampton University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for a Biomedical Support Worker to join our team. The role will be to support the provision of molecular testing in the Wessex region and nationally for a comprehensive range of investigations for haematological disease, MRD, disease associations, lymphoma and solid tumours
Our UKAS accredited department is a Local Genomics Laboratory as part of the Wessex, Oxford and West Midlands Genomics Laboratory Hub, one of seven across England. The laboratory works closely with both Cellular Pathology and Haematology services at University Hospital Southampton and several other Trusts to enable the provision of molecular diagnostics for the region and nationally. You will be required to work 37.5 hours a week, working flexibly as needed, between 08:00 – 20:00 hrs.
