Description

Thriving, financial services company seeks a Bookkeeper AP/AR with proven experience with bank reconciliations, AP/AR activities, and vendor maintenance. In this Bookkeeper AP/AR role, you will assist with accounts receivable/payable, account reconciliation, journal entries, vendor management, budgeting and forecasting, compliance, cash flow analysis, manage employee benefits, account analysis, financial records, general ledger maintenance, assist with new hire documentation and forms, and basic administrative activities. The ideal individual will have strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures, excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

· Enter and process accounts payable/receivable

· Maintain general ledger

· Perform bank reconciliations

· Assist with payroll compliance/deductions

· Maintain internal file/record keeping system

· Post journal entries

· Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations

· Spreadsheet Maintenance

· Light office support

Requirements

The ideal Bookkeeper AP/AR will preferably have a Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration.

Other requirements for the Bookkeeper AP/AR role include and are not limited to:

· 2+ years of bookkeeping experience

· QuickBooks experience required

· Transportation industry experience a plus

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
