Description of the Assignment:
The BPF Freetown City Council Focal Point – Investment Consultant will provide technical and managerial support to the project, under the supervision of UNCDF, in support to FCC and in the context of the the BPF program, for the implementation of innovative projects, aimed at developing and mobilizing innovative financing for the implementation of “Transform Freetown” for the benefit of Freetown’s residents. He/she will also support activities within the BPF according to the needs of the global program. To facilitate the broad responsibilities and global investments in the West and Central Africa region, the BPF Freetown City Council Focal Point – Investment Consultant will employ a home-based setup, aligning with the strategic needs for flexibility and accessibility in a multi-country context, including travel.
The BPF Freetown City Council Focal Point – Investment Consultant will have to conduct the activities to allow the implementation of the projects supported by the global BPF program. He/she will work across four integrated workstreams as described in the Terms of Reference.
Period of assignment/services: 12 months
