Job Description Summary

The successful candidate will provide support to the brokerage engagement team within human resources. This team provides HR support to the company’s recruitment and retention efforts within the Brokerage departments and supports HR in managing the broker life cycle.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational support of Broker (employee) onboarding, life cycle transactions and retention efforts across multiple geographies in the US and Canada.
  • Establish a strong working relationship with HRBPs and Local Operations Directors and partner with them to coordinate and track various employee life cycle transactions including hiring, terminations, job type changes, and compensation changes.
  • Prepare related brokerage employment documents including offer letters, employment agreements, draw agreements, loan agreements, bonus memos and internal forms. Department SME on Canada non-incentivized broker agreements
  • Oversee brokerage recruiting process for new-to-career non-incentivized brokers
  • Partner with Payroll and HR Operations to facilitate and track payments of loans, bonuses and draw payments.
  • Manage database tracking & reporting of all activity of the team as well as exception reporting and approval process.
  • Entering completed broker recruiting and retention deal terms into company database
  • Submitting required documentation and following up on requests submitted via HelpHub (internal HR case management system)
  • Oversee all standard contract forms and templates.
  • Assist with developing PowerPoint presentations.
  • Coordinate activities with other departments including legal, operations and human resources.
  • Support various ad hoc projects.

Background, Experience and Competencies:

  • 3-5+ years’ experience in a professional organization or equivalent educational experience
  • Administrative or human resources experience in legal or professional services environment preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite required
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, familiarity with legal contract terminology
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent attention to detail

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.

The compensation for the position is: $51,000.00 – $60,000.00
