Business Analyst – LIMS in Woodbridge, New Jersey

Description

We are seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to support upcoming changes to our Nautilus and custom-built applications, followed by the implementation of LabVantage. The ideal candidate will have experience gathering and documenting user requirements, performing system testing, and ensuring successful LIMS deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Nautilus and custom-built applications, ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs.

• Transition into supporting the LabVantage LIMS implementation, conducting detailed analysis of laboratory processes and identifying areas for optimization.

• Generate user requirements and test scripts for the new LIMS system.

• Perform unit testing, system testing, and integration testing to validate system functionality.

• Ensure data integrity by reviewing system reports, conducting quality checks, and establishing validation procedures.

• Assist in the implementation process, including user training, data migration, system configuration, and testing to ensure a smooth transition.

  Requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 5 to 7 years of experience in business analysis, capturing user requirements, and documenting them for LIMS solutions.

• 2 to 3 years of experience performing unit testing, system testing, and integration testing of LIMS solutions.

• 3 to 6 years of experience generating test scripts for LIMS systems.

• Strong familiarity with LIMS software platforms, database concepts, and system configuration capabilities.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience with LabVantage LIMS (preferred but not required).
