Job Title: Business Analyst/Project Manager – User Experience Background
Location: Montreal (day 1 onboarding onsite / in-office presence required 3x/week)
12 Months ContractA good candidate will have a track record of strong product and project management and experience working within an Agile framework.candidates need UX wireframe experience/app design experienceMust have skills:
- Looking for 7+ years of experience in a product management, business analyst, product owner, or user experience role.
- Must have good communications skills
- Need to have User Experience design background
- UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Balsamic.
- No Coding experience is required but need to work with Development team and operational teams.
- Must have experience on requirements gathering and story writings/Roadmaps.
- Candidate will be working with global team with different squads in Organization.
- 2 rounds of Interview with panel or 3 members and one onsite Interview.
Core Responsibilities:
- Work with business partners to identify opportunities and define goals for various initiatives
- Play a key role in articulating detailed requirements and acceptance criteria
- Coordinate across business, user experience and technology teams to drive delivery
- Prepare detailed specifications and supporting documents to guide development teams as needed, including assisting in
- Collaborate with other teams within the organization on project work and to further best practices
Key Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in a product management, business analyst, product owner, or user experience role
- User Experience design background including designing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for web, mobile, and other digital platforms.
- Experience in an Agile setting writing user stories, acceptance criteria, epics and organizing the backlog according to the overall roadmap
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with business stakeholders to understand the business and gather requirements
- Highly detail-oriented with a strong ability to manage and execute simultaneous projects and tasks
- Self-motivated, with a high level of initiative
- Ability to work efficiently and independently
- Proficiency in MS Office and related applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Skills Desired
- A degree in computer science, business or related fields
- Experience at an investment bank or other leading financial services firms
- Comfort working with ambiguity, managing and resolving complex issues
- Proficiency in industry standard UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Balsamic) and the ability to create interactive prototypes to demonstrate design functionality and gather user feedback.
- Experience in developing wireframes, prototypes (low-Client and high-Client), and user flows to visualize and test design concepts.
- Visual Design & Information Architecture: Develop and maintain information architecture (site maps, navigation structures) to ensure content is organized and accessible. Apply established firm provided design systems and style guides to maintain consistency across platform & products.
- Experience with SQL and tools such as Power BI to query data for analysis and visualization.
