The Work

This role will support multiple project workstreams supporting a government agency, utilizing Scrum and Kanban Agile methodologies. The Agile teams will be performing a lift and shift and migration of seven sites from Progressive to Drupal.

Job Location: This is a remote, within the U.S. only, position.

Responsibilities:

  • Support all aspects of the digital (web and mobile) content development cycle including creating, optimizing and owning workflows, stakeholder engagement, quality assurance and a workflow Scrum Master.

  • Act as Scrum Master for migration of multiple teams, including supporting Scrum of Scrums.

  • Manage content traceability and track status of content throughout the project using Jira.

  • Own the communication (both verbal and written) of any risks/issues within the development cycle.

  • Facilitate workstream team meetings to gather, document, refine, and prioritize content, identify action items, and identify impediments for remediation.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, developers, designers, and user experience researchers in an Agile environment.

Basic Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • U.S. citizen or lawful Permanent Resident Aliens (green card) with at least three (3) years of U.S. residency from the date of legal entry in the U.S.

  • All work must be conducted within the U.S.

  • Must be willing to obtain and maintain a Public Trust level clearance

  • As a contractor to the federal government, all hires may be required to complete additional background screenings at the time of hire or any time thereafter as requested.

  • SM Certification and 3 years of Scrum Master experience.

  • 3 years of experience working with a CMS such as WordPress, Drupal or other system.

  • 3 years of experience working with cross-functional teams to build digital products using an Agile methodology.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with the federal government

  • Experience working within web teams using Agile, Kanban, or similar, methods to track elements required for a lift and shift of content.

  • Experience working with Drupal or other content management systems.

  • Experience diagraming processes using tools like Microsoft Visio.

  • Experience in the development and maintenance of technical documentation –specifications, workflow development/optimization, and other supporting system documentation within Jira, Confluence or similar.

Professional Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills, especially business process.

  • Excellent written and communication skills with focus on attention to detail to ensure accuracy of user stories and test scripts.

Pay Range – There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$54,063.00 – $91,907.00
